Angelos Manglis completed his Bachelor studies in Civil Engineering from the Democrition University of Thrace. He has an M.A. from theDepartment of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a focus on Prehistoric Archaeology. He also holds an MSc in “Technical Change & Industrial Strategy” from PREST Institute of the University of Manchester.

He is a member of the Hellenic Marine Archaeology Institute. He is an experienced diver and sailor who has participated in numerous underwater expedition and is a strong advocatefor maintaining in-situ Underwater Cultural Heritage and operating Accessible Underwater Heritage Sites. Due to his admiration for the underwater activities he has been engaged and involved in several European Projects concerning the study and protection of the underwater cultural heritage in archaeological sites. As an expert in RTD project management he has contributed to the formation of strategies for technology and business development and developed a portfolio of strong working relationships and contacts with many high-technology and IT companies, as well as policy makers globally. is a member of the Hellenic Marine Archaeology Institute.  He has also been elected General Secretary of the Association of Greek Diving Centers and he is a PADI OWSI.
