Fabio Figurella

Fabio Figurella is the coordinator of DAN Europe EU projects Team. He is PADI Instructor from 2007 and PADI Course Director from 2011 with 2340 certification issued (946 at professional level). He is in charge as Regional Manager for PADI EMEA in Italy from 2016. He is the founder and the coordinator of “Scuola D’amare” project for Ocean Literacy in Italy approved from Ministry of Education. Recognized as Ocean Expert from UNESCO/IOC Project Office for IODE (ID 44830). He is member of the EU4OCEAN platform. He is co-author of the training program “Basic Research Operator” implemented in partnership with DAN Europe in the MPA-ENGAGE project funded by INTERREG-MED to engage recreational divers in Citizen Science actions on Climate Change in the MED MPAs. He is coordinator of HYDRA project for Citizen Science actions using DPVs to collect MCS data. He is training Expert and PADI examiner. He is co-author of 2 scientific papers on Marine Litters.
