Rumen Stoyanov
LECTURER, ENGINEER
Rumen Stoyanov, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Head of Department “Ship Power Systems” at the Faculty of Engineering - Naval Academy in Varna.
He is currently employed as lecturer in the Department of Engineering at the Naval Academy in Varna. He activley pairs his teaching activities to cutting-edge research initiatives. He graduated from the Naval Academy in the field of ship machines and mechanisms where he also became a certified diver. As submarine mechanic, working for the Navy, he gained experience inspectivng the underwater hull of numerous vessels, supervising underwater work up to 120m depth. Additionally he has a Diver’s Pass which was issued by IDA – International Diving Association – Germany (2012).
