The “InterDive 2022” fair will take place from 22.-25.9.2022 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. It is a diving fair where stakeholders, scientists and interested divers meet. More than 80 exhibitors show their novelties and offer everything from diving travel to diving equipment, information on diving education and training to information and participatory projects from freshwater and marine conservation organisations and research institutions.
The project EU ScienceDIVER “Cross-sectoral skills for the Blue Economy labor market” focuses on building solid-long lasting-collaborations and structures between academia and industry in order to offer standardized training and clear career pathways to diving scientists.
Our ScienceDIVER Career Day provide an insight, new synergies and structured cooperation between education and training institutions on the one hand and maritime industry on the other to raise awareness on the opportunities in the scientific diving and blue economy sector to young scientists. First and foremost, we would like to highlight opportunities and challenges in the career path of young scientists interested in the fields of geosciences, natural sciences, cultural sciences and engineering to becoming a scientific diver and discuss them in person.
